The POPPI Pod concept
Designed to pop up anywhere you’d like to welcome up to 6 people at a time into their own oasis of peace and privacy. Poppi is a quiet space for groups to enjoy. A beautiful free standing pod with many uses, meditation, colour therapy, video calls or co-creative activities. Research shows that providing varied types of space with-in the public and work environment is beneficial to neurodiversity and different working styles. Sometimes we all need privacy and to feel safe and protected.
How POPPI Pod is made
POPPI Pod is cut from sheets of recycled PET felt EchoPanel. EchoPanel® is an award-winning, felt like acoustic panel made from 60%-90% recycled plastic bottles that absorb up to 85% of sound waves.
POPPI pod and her design concept can be used to integrate with many other technologies, the interior grey surface forms a perfect curved screen for receiving projections for a variety of uses, for example colour bathing, mapping, real time video and virtual interaction.
