VIOLET DISRUPTION

Violet is the hyper-deity for survival from the mind of Stephanie Singer. Birthed from the intergalactic nervous system. Formed from the energies of survivors. She will hypnotize, haunt, activate, resist and inspire in many spaces. But most of all she’s gonna make you move. Freyja is the Character Designer for Violet, working with multiple collaborators to design and create her face, body and costumes.

Violet is an ongoing digital identity with previous iterations with National Ballet of Canada, SIRT. Most recently Violet won the Beyond Opera prize and appeared at the Finnish Opera to bring Rave into the main stage of Finnish National Opera House. Colliding the hauntingly beautiful worlds of operatic divas of the past together with driven and psychedelic electronic dance music, she hosted evenings of opera, ballet, circus and installation.
